The El Jefe is a red blend made up of 60% Syrah (Kaerskov Vineyard) and 40% Cabernet Franc (Camp Four Vineyard). It was aged 20 months in neutral French Oak barrels. The wine exudes aromatics of dark fruit, cherry, and blackberry followed by notes of dark chocolate and pepper spice with a well integrated, full bodied finish.
