The Sta. Rita Hills AVA is known for producing some of the highest quality Pinot Noir grapes in the world. The unique micro-climate allows for a long ripening season which is ideal for delicate Pinot Noir grapes. This pinot is from Rio Vista Vineyard and Zotovitch Vineyard. We aged this Pinot for 20 months in French oak barrels. An approachable yet complex Pinot Noir, this wine opens with aromas of bright plum and black currant. The body is inviting, with notes of clove, cola, and cedar, and finishes with bright acidity and silky tannins.
