La Encantada Vineyard is a 100 acre vineyard located just seven miles from the Pacific Ocean, on the western edge of the Sta. Rita Hills. The vineyard was planted in 1998. This wine is made of 100% Pinot Noir, using only the 777 clone. It was aged 18 months in neutral French oak barrels. Clone 777 is known for producing deep, dark, rich fruit flavors. The wine has aromas of black cherries and ripe plums followed by rich, earthy flavors and a smooth finish.
