This Cabernet Franc comes from two vineyards planted in the far East end of the Santa Ynez Valley: Rossi Vineyard and Camp Four Vineyard. This region of the valley has a very hot climate with many summer days over 100 degrees producing the perfect growing conditions for these grapes. The rocky soils of the foothills stress the vines into producing smaller clusters with richer flavors. This wine has aromas of berries and spiced dark chocolate with a juicy mouthfeel that is followed by a firm, round finish.
