Rossi is a single-acre vineyard in Happy Canyon that produces some of the best Cabernet Franc in the area. The long hot summer days and hard rocky clay soil allow the vines to produce deep, rich flavors. Deep ruby red in color and medium bodied, the nose of this Cabernet Franc is distinct and inviting. Notes of herbs, spices, and jalapeño leap from the glass. Bright acids, smooth tannins and a medium body are accompanied by rich flavors of red and black fruit followed by vanilla and a soft granite minerality. The finish is exceptionally smooth and creamy.
