This Sauvignon Blanc was grown in the heart of the Los Olivos District in Santa Barbara County. Open Gate Vineyard has a fine, sandy loam soil with a mixture of rock and limestone. The warm days and cool nights make for ideal conditions for these grapes. The wine was cold fermented in stainless steel to capture the incredible flavors this vineyard produces and then aged for five months. This Sauvignon Blanc has a soft, round, fruit forward nose with aromas of citrus, pineapple, Meyer lemon, and tropical fruit followed by a crisp mid-palate.
