For our very first bottled Carr Chardonnay, we created 2 barrels of Chardonnay from Turner Vineyard in the Sta. Rita Hills. The juice was slowly fermented in new French oak barrels and then aged 18 months in new French oak barrels. This multilayered wine unfolds with butterscotch and toasted caramel flavors followed by notes of hazelnut on the finish. Pair with Lobster Mac and Cheese.
