This is the first Cabernet Sauvignon that Carr Winery has produced since the first vintage made in 1999. This wine comes from the Sky Is The Limit Vineyard in the Happy Canyon AVA of Santa Barbara County. The soils are a mix of stone, river rock, and clay loam which creates the ideal environment for Cabernet Sauvignon. The wine is well-balanced with hints of blackberry and licorice on the mid-palate followed by a complex smooth finish.
