This Cabernet Franc comes from Rossi Vineyard in the Happy Canyon AVA of Santa Barbara County. Happy Canyon us the perfect location for Cabernet Franc. Ryan Carr planted Rossi Vineyard in 2007 to show how well these vines could perform in this area. The long hot summer days and hard rocky clay soils allow the vines to produce deep, rich flavors. This wine has a nose filled with dark fruits and peppers followed by a soft, yet gripping mid-palate and a long finish.
